Day Activities
Every day, I try to dress modestly, this includes the covering of my head with some kind of hat or a kippah. This is because it is meant to be a reminder that God is always over us and that we are not meant to let our souls be assaulted by the secular world. I am conservative jewish (not the same as being politically conservative) and not fully orthodox so I do not intend to cover all of my hair after I get married though.
During the day as a side Job I do art commisions for people online! This artwork was done for a close friend for their DND campaign.
Of course, I always love to get my favorite drink from the schools vending machine with my school lunch that I eat every day, the blue powerade! I have certain dietary restrictions due to my religion, so I don't quite have certification that everything is kosher; thus I have to do my best to stay within kosher guidelines as best as I can. Although the lack of being able to eat cheese with meat is hard, the school does make really good cheese pizza. Before meals I am meant to say prayer.
Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha’olam hamotzi lehem min ha’aretz.
Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, who brings forth bread from the earth.
