Mount Saint Helens

The lands surrounding Mount St. Helens wer easy to consider beautiful. It is located in Southwestern Washington State in Skamania County, which is also about 50 miles northeast of the major city, Portland, Oregon. This natural land formation attracted many locals and visiters from across the nation. It was even so beautiful that former President Harry R. Truman and many others made it their home. However, in March of 1980, Mount St. Helens roared to life again, and the timebomb begain.
